Do I Really Have To Take Chemical Medicines For My Yeast Infections?

by Adrianne Saizu

There may be many times in a woman's life that she experiences yeast infections and while this may be a common occurrence, there is no reason why she has to continue to suffer through them. You can go to any grocery store and find relief in the drug isle and while that may not be unexpected it could be surprising to find cures that are all natural in other parts of the store for a fraction of the cost.

So today I want to tell you about two natural cures that have worked for me. I was very specific when I was looking for treatment options. They had to be effective, in expensive and readily available. I did not feel like driving all over the place to find some random ingredient. Was I found were two options that not only were they highly effective but they really helped me to save a lot of money over the course of a year.

Yogurt is apparently one of the best natural treatments that you can use for yeast infections. I was actually surprised by this. But it is important to note that you need to use yogurt without any sugar in it at all. If you should accidentally use yogurt with sugar be prepared for one of the worst infections that you have ever had! Yeast love sugar and will grow extremely quickly.

To use yogurt as a cure you could do one of three things. You could eat some everyday as a preventative measure and to restore the pH levels in your body. You could take a clean tampon and dip it into the yogurt prior to inserting it into the vagina, just leave it in for an hour or so they take it out. Or you could even just apply some to the vulva this will soothe the burning feeling.

Lastly apple cider vinegar is great to use! I like to take a very hot bath and add two cups of the vinegar to it. Or if you don't have time for a bath you could mix equal part water and vinegar and scrub the area with a wash cloth.
