In this journal, you can provide answers to questions like: Did smoking for so long influenced your today self and personality? What enhancements and changes can you make? What can you do to change the home or work environment where everyone smokes? Are there things you like about a cigarette? What do you hate about smoking? Is there anyone you can count on if you decide to quit? What are the benefits you foresee? Decide upon a precise quitting date

Settle a close date. Do not delay it and make sure you pick a clear day of this month if you don't want to lose your enthusiasm. It's best to pick a day in which everything can go smoothly Plan a tight schedule for the first few days. Because the first days are very hard, you should think of a period when you can keep your mind busy with something else.

Some people might want to have lots of things to do during the first days. And some want to sleep. These are the days in which we should do whatever it takes to feel as comfortable as we can. Even sleeping for a long time can help. This is the only time when nicotine addiction will cause you severe symptoms. Don't let the process of returning to a normal life scare you.
