Have you heard all of the funny ways there are to describe your love handles? In fact there are even more hilarious ways to justify being overweight. It is a fact that many people are embarrassed by their love handles. That flabby belly hanging over the top of your pants is probably not something you like to see. Many people will try to down play their love handles even though they may joke about it being their muffin top. Fortunately for you love handles don't have to be forever. As you already know, exercise is the most effective way to get rid of love handles. You can't do just any exercise to accomplish your task. It is important to note that aerobic exercise is the best exercise for your task. With aerobic exercise you will notice an increased heart rate and better blood flow. You will burn more fat with aerobic exercise because it requires more energy which forces your body to begin burning fat stores to gain energy during workouts. Three times a week for thirty minutes of an aerobic workout will do the trick. In order to really burn some fat you will need to increase that to 4 if not 5 times per week.

Add weight training to supplement the other forms of exercise and help tone your new body. You will benefit in different ways from weight training than you will from other forms. Your regular exercise routine will become easier because of the increased muscle mass resulting from your weight training and you will also notice a greater metabolic response. Your increased metabolism will help you burn those love handles off quick.

Avoid those health food supplements that offer guarantees of quick results, the are often bad for your health. These are never true. You need a routine that includes anaerobic, aerobic and weight training in order to truly benefit from your desire to lose your love handles. Building muscle behind love handles can be accomplished with one exercise. This can reveal more prominent and perky muscles and love handles. Do you really want to see that happen?

Love handles are probably the most embarrassing part of your body. You are not stuck with them you can choose to do something about them. There are many many ways you can reduce or eliminate that extra weight around the mid section. Shedding unwanted pounds is easy with diet and exercise. Miracle cures do not exist don't believe anyone who tries to tell you otherwise. It takes hard work and patience to drop excess weight. At some point you will discover the physique you've always wanted is beginning to come out.
