Losing Weight With A Cookie Diet

With global warming that result in unpredictable weather patterns, farmers, especially in developing countries who rely on small scale farming without irrigation find it hard to know when to plant. In most cases, the crops cultivated are wiped out due to lack of rain. This leads to famine and hunger. Cookie diet come in handy in sustaining their lives until the situation improves.

Obesity can be measured by weighing and measuring height and calculating the weight/height ratio, and measuring the thickness of skin folds. Obesity brings several health complications, which include high blood pressure and related problems. There are several programs and food supplements that have been developed to assist those obese to reduce their weight and minimize chances of developing medical problems.

As countries and communities engage in wars, many people get displaced and end up in refugee camps. Feeding such big number of people becomes a problem. A proper formulated cookie diet becomes a perfect solution as food. Cookies are used by non-governmental organizations in helping those in need of food as a first line of action before sustainable food sources are established.

Compared to other diets, cookie diet are cheap and many can afford to buy them. They are hunger-suppressing foods that can be used in difficult situations where natural foods are not readily available.

However, this causes serious health risks if raw eggs are added to the mixture. Raw eggs are known to contain pathogenic salmonella. Salmonella causes food poisoning that can lead to typhoid fever and eating raw cookie diet dough is strongly discouraged. The cookie diet dough is normally cut into sizable pieces and either baked or fried.

However, for those with other health problems such as high blood pressure, anemia and other diseases, consulting a physician before embarking on the cookie diet is highly recommended. This is to avoid situations where an existing health condition/problem is aggravated.

The other ingredients used in the making of cookie diet should also be considered by those with medical problems. Some cookie diet include spices, which may not be good for some as it may worsen an already existing medical problem.

Before one embarks on a cookie diet, he/she should consider carefully his/her health condition. Sticking solely on a cookie diet can aggravate certain diseases and illnesses. Having healthy fruit juices in the course of the day can complement a cookie diet. This can actually provide the body with vitamins and minerals that cannot be obtained from the cookies.
