Though most of us want to lose weight and dream of a slim and fit shape, when it comes to adhering to the weight loss tips and diet control, we fail miserably. Over the years that I have exercised, and it has been quite a few now. I have discovered that working out in the morning always results in more body fat loss, than any other time of the day. In fact it is well documented that you can lose up to 3 times as much fat, exercising at this time of day, compared to any other time.

Water is an important ingredient that makes up nearly sixty percent of the body contents. So being hydrated is essential to maintain a healthy body. Drink a minimum of 8 to 15 glasses of water per day. This flushes out the toxic materials from the body, increases the metabolic rate and also helps in keeping the complexion clean and glowing.

Before doing the cardio workouts start on the resistance training. The first twenty minutes of a workout is crucial as the body does not burn out any fat during this period. So instead of the cardio exercises do some warm up exercises that stretch and relax the muscles, avoiding the formation of cramps or sprains during the workout done at the later stage. This will also increase the metabolism which will lead to weight loss.

Many of us skip out the morning breakfast while trying to lose weight. But the morning meal is very vital for weight loss and is actually the answer for how to lose weight. It increases the metabolic rate and supplies energy to sustain the weight loss regimen. Intake of wholesome breakfast will avoid hunger pangs and in between meal snacking, which are the main culprits in weight gain.

When we visit the gym it's only natural to look around us and check out the competition. They aren't really that, but somehow we seem to look at them in this way. All in all this can be very demoralizing to our esteem. But what you have to remember they got there because of hard work and regular workouts. It isn't going to happen for you over night. They have had the will and desire to break through the pain and effort barrier. You must do the same.

Lifestyle changes are a must if you are serious about your question of how to lose weight. If you live near to your office, walk to your work place if it is nearby, instead of driving. Take the stairs instead of using the elevator. Involve yourself actively in some sort of sport or join dancing or aerobics classes.
