The next thing is to make sure that you are drinking a large amount of water. Water is important in maintaining a correct eating habit. Drinking a lot of water can do wonders for the body. First, it regulates your body temperature and ensures your metabolism remains active to its full capacity. Second, it flushes out the toxins from the body, as drinking plenty of water cause you to urinate frequently. And third, if you drink a large amount of water, your stomach feels full and keeps away hunger, thus preventing the urge to indulge in gluttony.

Thirdly, eat a lot of fibrous food. The diet you take should contain lots of fiber. Fibrous food is essential for 2 reasons. First, since fiber rich foods are slow to digest, they stay in the body for long and so stay away hunger. This prohibits you from eating often which can lead to gaining weight. Fiber rich food keeps the belly full for lengthy periods. And second, a fiber rich diet flushes out extra cholesterol, thereby keeping your heart healthy. So, a fiber rich diet can give you more energy and you can use this energy to exercise more to shed the calories.

4th thing is to eat at smaller intervals and lighter meals overall. This will help you in avoiding overeating as you'll be getting food at regular intervals. Ensure that you only eat tiny nibbles and fresh fruits as your 'in between' meals.

Note that eating properly can shed your weight, but eating less will end up in illness.
